OUR STORY Critical Couture was conceived by a physician with a lifelong interest in fashion and design for the benefit of female health care practitioners. From the beginning of medical school, the co-founder was disappointed with the poor design and construction of women's white doctor coats. She promised herself that she would find a quality, appropriately designed and fitted coat; and if she could not find one, she would design one. Frustrated that she felt less professional than ever due to her required attire, she was finally moved to action during her fellowship. With assistance from her family, Critical Couture was created. The mission of Critical Couture is to provide well-designed, well-constructed stylish women's white coats that reflect the dedication, quality, and professionalism of health care providers. . .
